2020 AGM minutes

Annual General Meeting

June 14, 2020

Held Online Via Google Meet

2:00 pm AGM Registration

Present: Alec Pearson, Kyle Hawkes, Joel Thomson, Galina Jitlina, Anna Pietrzak, Morgana Xu, Luis Medina, John (observer). 

Alec motioned to call the AGM to order at 2:15pm. Joel seconded. 

The AGM was called to order. 

Luis Medina motioned to adopt the minutes from the last fiscal year. Joel Seconded.

Motion carried. 

Alec motioned to adopt the meeting agenda. Luis seconded. Motion carried. 

Quorum report: 7 voting members are present. Quorum passed. 

  1. Alec Pearon presented the Chair’s report

  1. Morgana presented the financial report. Luis moved to adopt the financial report. Alec seconded. Motion carried. 

  1. Board member election: all directors have stated the intention to continue to serve. Call for additional nominations are made.

    1. Chair: Alec Pearson

    2. Vice-chair: Joel Thompson

    3. Public communication and volunteer coordinator/ Outreach program director: Luis Medina

    4. Secretary/Treasurer: Morgana Xu 

    5. Artistic director: Daniel Bolshoy

    6. Publicity director: Kyle Hawkes

Motion to elect the aforementioned directors was adopted by voting of members present.

  1. Next AGM: May 30th, 2021

  1. Other business: discussion about COVID19 situation and plans. 

The AGM was adjourned at 3:40pm.
