The Northwest guitar festival will be held in Seattle, April 4-6, with the generous support of the Seattle Classic Guitar Society and the University of Washington.
Guitarlab Intensives, founded by Bokyung Byun and Dr. Jaxon Williams, offer two immersive online programs for classical guitarists of all levels - The Summer Virtuoso Intensives and The 4 x 4 Intensives.
Join us for this free event at the Vancouver Academy of Music’s Mary Olson Hall. This event features students of all levels. We hope you will enjoy a few novice performers followed by the players of the VAM Guitar Ensemble. Finishing off the evening will be guest performers from UBC’s undergrad program; Noah Ferrera-Palchinski, Gabriela Pimental and Selina Zhou.

Montreal-based Charles Hobson and Marie-Noelle Choquette are the innovative guitar and flute duo, Beija-Flor. Together, they present a dynamic and beautiful repertoire of classical works inspired by cultures from around the world. “…an incredibly dynamic and creative team“, “masterful arrangements.” (Flute Quarterly, USA).
